Who we are
Craving Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) makes and publishes mobile games under the name Craving Studio. Craving Studio is the games brand of Craving Solutions. We are based in India.
For data protection law, Craving Solutions is the “controller” (under the EU and UK GDPR) and the “Data Fiduciary” (under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) for any personal data described in this policy.
You can reach us at cravingsolutions.contact@gmail.com.
What this policy covers
- Our mobile games (each one an “App”), published by Craving Solutions on Google Play. They are listed in section 22, Game-specific details.
- This website and the emails you send us.
The general parts of this policy apply to every App. Facts that are true for one game only are in the Game-specific details. Please also read our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
Information our games collect automatically
None. Our games do not collect or send us any log data, device information, device or advertising identifiers, IP addresses, usage data (such as which levels you play or for how long) or purchase data. They save your progress only on your own device (see section 5).
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name (if your email shows it) and what you write. You choose what to tell us.
Information from other sources
None. Our games have no social logins (such as Facebook or Google sign-in), and we do not get information about you from other companies.
On this website
The website has no sign-up, no forms, no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (see section 7).
How we use information, and why
- Emails you send us: to answer you and help with your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping our players and, where relevant, taking steps you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and (b)). Under India’s DPDP Act, you give us this information yourself for this purpose.
- Website server logs: to keep the website safe and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security.
- Game data on your device: used only by the game on your device, to save your progress and settings. We cannot see it.
We do not use your information for profiling, ads or automated decisions.
Where information is stored
- Game progress and settings are stored only in the game’s private storage on your device. They never leave your device. The exact list for each game is in section 22.
- Emails are stored by our email provider, Google (Gmail).
- Website server logs are stored by our hosting provider.
Delete your data
You can delete everything a game has saved at any time, in one of two ways:
- Uninstall the game, or
- open your phone’s Settings → Apps → (the game) → Storage → Clear data (the exact names can differ a little between phones).
We do not keep a copy or a cloud backup, so deleted progress cannot be brought back.
To delete an email conversation with us, write to cravingsolutions.contact@gmail.com and ask us to delete it.
Push notifications
Our games do not send push notifications. If a game adds them in the future, they will be opt-in (you will be asked first), and you can turn them off at any time in your phone’s settings.
Do we sell personal data?
No. We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those words are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We have not done so in the last 12 months.
If a game adds ads in the future
There are no ads in our games today. A game may add ads in a future version. If it does, then before that version is released we will:
- update this policy and the game’s Google Play “Data safety” form;
- name our ad partners here (for example, Google AdMob) and link to their policies;
- explain what they may collect and why. Ad partners usually collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, approximate location (from the IP address) and how you interact with ads. They use it to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ads and prevent fraud;
- ask for your consent where the law requires it. For players in the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland we will use a Google-certified consent tool that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). We will honour opt-outs under US state laws;
- offer non-personalised ads, and let you change your choice later;
- explain how to reset or delete your Android advertising ID (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your phone);
- never show personalised ads to children;
- keep rewarded ads (ads you choose to watch for an in-game reward) optional. You will never have to watch an ad to keep playing.
If a game adds in-app purchases in the future
There are no real-money purchases in our games today. If a game adds them, we will update this policy and the Data safety form before that version is released. Payments would be processed by Google Play Billing. We would never see your card or bank details. We would receive only an order number and a purchase token, which we would use to deliver your item and handle refunds.
If a game adds analytics or crash reporting in the future
There are no analytics or crash-reporting tools in our games today. If a game adds them (for example, to find bugs or see which levels are too hard), we will update this policy and the Data safety form first. We will name the provider, say what it collects (such as device model, app version, crash details and game events), and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Children
Our games are not directed to children under 13, unless a game’s store page says otherwise. Each game shows its own content rating on its store page (see also section 22).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (as defined by the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA), or from anyone else, in our games. If we learn that we have received personal information from a child under 13 (for example, in an email), we will delete it. Parents or guardians can contact us at cravingsolutions.contact@gmail.com.
Your rights
Because our games do not collect personal data, the only game data is on your own device, and the only personal data we may hold is an email you sent us. Below, each right says how it works in practice. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
EU / EEA and UK (GDPR and UK GDPR)
- Access: you can ask what we hold about you. In practice, this is any email you sent us; we will send you a copy.
- Rectification (correction): you can ask us to correct wrong information. We will correct our copy of your emails if needed.
- Erasure: you can ask us to delete your data. We will delete your emails; game data you delete yourself on your device.
- Restriction: you can ask us to limit how we use your data. We will keep your emails only for your request and use them for nothing else.
- Objection: you can object to use based on our legitimate interests. We will stop and delete the emails unless we must keep them by law.
- Portability: you can ask for your data in a common format. We will send your emails to you; game data never leaves your device.
- Withdraw consent: if we ever rely on your consent (for example, for personalised ads in the future), you can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Complaint: you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
California (CCPA / CPRA)
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to be informed (notice at collection): this policy tells you everything we collect: only emails you send us.
- Right to know and to disclosure (access): you can ask what personal information we hold, and we will tell you and send a copy.
- Right to delete (data deletion request): ask us and we will delete your emails.
- Right to correct: you can ask us to correct wrong information.
- Equal service and price: we will not charge you a different price or give you worse service for using your rights.
India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)
As a Data Principal, you have the right to get information about your personal data and how it is used, to have it corrected, completed, updated or erased, to have your grievances handled (see section 21), and to nominate another person to use these rights if you die or cannot act yourself. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
How to use your rights
- Email us at cravingsolutions.contact@gmail.com from any email address.
- Tell us which game it is about (if any) and what you would like us to do.
- We may ask a simple question to confirm the request is really from you (for example, to reply from the same email address you wrote to us from before).
- We will answer within 30 days.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to:
- in the EU/EEA, your local data protection authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO);
- in India, the Data Protection Board of India;
- in California, the California Attorney General.
How long we keep information
- Game data: kept only on your device until you delete it.
- Emails: kept only as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record of your request, then deleted.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short time, for security.
Security
We use reasonable security practices and procedures, as required by India’s Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. Because our games keep your data only on your device, the best protection is your device’s own screen lock. No method of storing or sending data is 100% secure.
International transfers
We are based in India. Emails you send us are stored by our email provider, which may keep them in other countries. If a game adds partners in the future (for example, for ads), your data may be processed in other countries too (“third countries”). In that case we will name them here and use the safeguards the law requires (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
Grievance Officer
In line with Indian law, you can send any complaint or concern about this policy or your data to our Grievance Officer:
Grievance Officer, Craving Solutions, India
Email: cravingsolutions.contact@gmail.com
We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and try to resolve it within 30 days.
